Solar Offshore PV Mounting Structure Project

Product Description

Under the general trend of global energy transformation, the development and utilisation of solar energy as a clean and renewable energy source has attracted much attention. As an emerging field of solar energy utilisation, marine photovoltaic has the advantages of not occupying land land resources, good light conditions and relatively high power generation efficiency. With the gradual saturation of land-based photovoltaic resources, expanding the photovoltaic industry to the ocean has become an inevitable trend. The aim of this project is to design and implement a highly efficient, stable and adapted to the complex marine environment of solar offshore PV mounting structure, to provide a reliable solution for large-scale offshore photovoltaic power generation.

Project Advantages
(i) Environmentally Friendly
Offshore photovoltaic projects do not produce greenhouse gas emissions during the power generation process, which helps reduce environmental pollution and mitigate global climate change. At the same time, reasonable design and construction can reduce interference with the marine ecosystem, such as providing habitats for marine organisms in the structural design.
(ii) Efficient use of resources
The sea has a vast space and a large usable area, which can meet the demand for large-scale photovoltaic power generation. And the light conditions at sea are good, and the reflected light on the water surface can increase the solar radiation received by the PV modules and improve the power generation efficiency.
(III) Synergistic development with other industries
It can be combined with sea ranch to realise the comprehensive utilisation mode of ‘fishery and light complementary’, improve the economic value per unit of sea area, and promote the diversified development of marine industry. For example, the Three Gorges Group Dongshan Xing Chen 180MW offshore PV power station project explores the use of PV power generation combined with fishery farming to realise ‘power generation on the top and fish farming on the bottom’.
